Jeet Raval: Steady compact opening batsman
Jeet Raval was born on September 22, 1988 in Gujarat. After migrating to New Zealand from India, he made his first class debut for Auckland in 2008. He is a left handed opening batsman.
After a prolific 2015/16 season for Auckland, Raval made the Test tour to South Africa and Zimbabwe but did not play in any tests. He made his debut against Pakistan in the 1st Test at Christchurch in Nov 2016. He scored a polished 55 in a low NZ score of 200 on debut.
