Opening batsman and wicketkeeper
Ben Duckett was born on 17 Oct 1994 at Farnborough, Kent. He is a technically correct left handed opening batsman who also keeps wicket. After strong performances at school level, Duckett was selected for the England Under 19 team and took part in the 2012 Under 19 World Cup.
Duckett made his first class debut for Northamptonshire in 2013. After a strong showing in both the 2015 and 2016 county seasons, he was picked for the winter tour of Bangladesh and India in 2016. He made his international debut when he was selected in the ODI against Bangladesh in Oct 2016
Duckett forced his way into the 1st Test against Bangladesh in Oct 2016.
