Duanne Olivier was born on May 9, 1992 in Groblersdal.
He is a right arm swing bowl who made his first class debut in 2011
He follows in the footsteps of another great fast bowler Alan Donald who hails from the same area. According to Donald, Olivier, a former South African under-19 bowler, is an aggressive bowler who can hurry batsmen with his bounce, pace and swing.
Olivier made his international debut when he was selected in the 3rd Test against Sri Lanka in Jan 2017 at Johannesburg when he replaced Kyle Abbott.
