
John Dunlop Edwards was born on 12 June 1860 and died on 31 July 1911.
Edwards played three Test matches against England in 1888. He was a right-handed batsman and leg-break bowler.
Edwards was known for his strong defense and fielding skills. He was selected for the 1888 England tour based on his impressive club performances. Unfortunately, his Test career was brief and not particularly successful.
He had a nervous breakdown and passed away in 1911.
