Allround Hafeez seals 8 wicket win: 1st ODI (St Lucia)

Pakistan scored an easy 8-wicket win over a youthful West Indies team in the first of five ODI's .

The visitors chased down 222 for victory, wrapping up the win with 51 balls to spare. Asad Shafiq (61 not out) and Misbah-ul-Haq (73 not out) added an unbroken 134-run third-wicket stand after Mohammad Hafeez (54 and 1-36) shone with both bat and ball.

Pakistan 222 for 2 (Misbah 73*, Shafiq 61*, Hafeez 54, Bishoo 2-48) beat West Indies 221 for 6 (Bravo 67, Sammy 29*, Ajmal 1-24, Hafeez 1-36) by 8 wickets.
