Predicted win odds: less than 5% Kenya stunned the world when they reached the semifinals in the 2003 world cup. They are well led by skipper Jimmy Kamande and coached by former West Indies allrounder Eldine Baptiste. "We have had to make some very tough calls and there are some players that have been unlucky to miss out but we firmly believe this is the best squad to go to the World Cup and perform well," said Eldine Baptiste.
Kenya have a win-loss record of 6-16 and a 1 tie in world cup matches. Their form will revolve around veterans Thomas Odoyo and Collins Obuya, plus the evergreen Steve Tikolo.

Weaknesses: Lacks bowling and also fresh new batting talent to post bog scores that counteract this weakness.
