NZ crush England by 423 runs as Santner shines: 3rd Test, Day 4 (Hamilton)

Mitchell Santner (4-85);shone with the ball as New Zealand crushed England by a massive 423 runs in the third Test at Hamilton.

Set a record target of 658, England were knocked over for 234, to suffer their largest defeat by the Black Caps in terms of runs and fourth-largest by anyone.

Rookie Jacob Bethell top scored with 76, coming through an electrifying spell by New Zealand pace bowler Will O'Rourke.

England won the series 2-1.

New Zealand 347 (Santner 76, Latham 63, Potts 4-90) and 453 (Williamson 156, Young 60, Mitchell 60) beat England 143 (Henry 4-48, Santner 3-7, O'Rourke 3-33) and 234 (Bethell 76, Root 54, Santner 4-85) by 423 runs.
