Bumrah recovers ground after blistering Konstas debut: 4th Test, Day 1 (MCG)

19 year old Sam Konstas hit a blistering half-century on debut on a thrilling opening day of the fourth Test against India in Melbourne.

Konstas hit 60 off 65 balls and put on 86 with fellow opener Usman Khawaja (57). Manus Labuschagne's departure for 72 led to Australia losing three wickets for just nine runs, with Jasprit Bumrah (3-75) removing Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh in quick succession.

Steve Smith (68 not out) helped Australia to safety as they finished on 311-6.
