Jamieson, Duffy rout Pakistan for 91: 1st T20 (Christchurch)

Kyle Jamieson conceded just 8 runs and snapped up 3 wickets in 3 overs with the new ball as Pakistan were crushed by 9 wickets at Hagley Oval.

Pakistan began the five-match series in disastrous fashion, reduced to 11-4 at the end of the fifth over after Jamieson ran amok with the new ball. Jacob Duffy claimed 4 wickets for just 14 runs as Pakistan were knocked over for 91.

In reply, opener Tim Seifert got New Zealand off to a flying start, with 44 off 29 balls, striking seven fours and one six as the hosts won with nearly 10 overs to spare.

New Zealand 92 for 1 (Seifert 44, Allen 29*) beat Pakistan 91 (Khushdil 32, Duffy 4-14, Jamieson 3-8) by nine wickets.
