Gill, Jurel edge out England for series win: 4th Test, Day 4 (Ranchi)

Dhruv Jurel and Shubman Gill got India over the line with an unbroken stand of 72 that broke a tense two-hour period without a boundary at Ranchi.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal orchestrated a solid start with a 84 run stand, before spinners Hartley and Bashir induced some wobbles in India's nervous chase.

India took an unassailable lead of 3-1 with one to play.

India 307 (Jurel 90, Jaiswal 73, Bashir 5-119) and 192 for 5 (Rohit 55, Gill 52*, Jurel 39*, Bashir 3-79) beat England 353 (Root 122*, Robinson 58, Jadeja 4-67) and 145 (Crawley 60, Ashwin 5-51, Kuldeep 4-22) by five wickets.
