Haris, spinners power Pakistan win over Oman: 2025 Asia Cup No 4 (Dubai)

Pakistan opened their 2025 Asia Cup campaign with a dominant performance against debutants Oman in Match 4 at the Dubai International Stadium.

Batting first, Pakistan posted a strong total built around a fluent half-century from Mohammad Haris, who anchored the innings and provided the momentum.

Their bowlers then took control, with the spinners applying relentless pressure that left Oman struggling to build partnerships. Despite some resistance, Oman’s batting line-up was comprehensively outplayed, and Pakistan sealed a commanding 93-run victory to underline their credentials as early tournament favourites.

Pakistan 160 for 7 (Haris 66, Farhan 29, Kaleem 3-31, Faisal 3-34) beat Oman 67 (Mirza 27, Ashraf 2-6, Muqeem 2-7, Ayub 2-8) by 93 runs.
