Shoaib, Akmal in rescue after collapse: 2016 Asia Cup PAK v UAE (Mirpur)

An unbroken 114-run stand for the fourth wicket between Shoaib Malik (63 no) and Umar Akmal (50 no) stabilised Pakistan after a top order collapse against minnows UAE. 

Opting to bat, UAE managed to score 129 for six, despite a top-order collapse which saw them tottering at 12 for three after just four overs.

Pakistan 131 for 3 (Malik 63*, Akmal 50*, Javed 3-36) beat UAE 129 for 6 (Anwar 46, Amir 2-6, Irfan 2-30) by seven wickets.
