Rahul powers India to 2-0 series win over Windies: 2nd Test, Day 5 (Delhi)

K L Rahul guided India to a comfortable seven-wicket victory over West Indies on the final day of the second Test in Delhi to secure a 2–0 series sweep.

Resuming on 63 for 1 and needing just 58 more runs, India lost Yashasvi Jaiswal early to Jomel Warrican but Rahul and Sai Sudharsan steadied the chase with a composed 79-run stand.

Rahul remained unbeaten on 58 from 108 balls, guiding India to 124 for 3 and sealing the win inside the first session. Earlier in the match, India’s first-innings total of 518 for 5 declared, led by centuries from Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, had set up the dominance.

Kuldeep Yadav’s eight wickets across the match earned him the Player of the Match award, while Ravindra Jadeja was named Player of the Series for his consistent all-round displays.

India 518 for 5 dec (Jaiswal 175, Gill 129, Sai Sudharsan 87, Warrican 3-98) and 124 for 3 (Rahul 58*, Chase 2-36) beat West Indies 248 (Kuldeep 5-82) and 390 (Campbell 115, Hope, 103, Greaves 50*, Bumrah 3-44, Kuldeep 3-104) by seven wickets.
