Perth preview: Warner tips Renshaw over Konstas

29-year-old Matt Renshaw is the likely successor to the openning berth to partner Usman Khawaja says David Warner as he looks ahead to the opening Ashes Test in Perth.

Renshaw, who made the most recent of his 14 Test appearances in 2023, has made solid contributions after his recent return to the Australian ODI team.

Warner backed Marnus Labuschagne, who has struck four hundreds in five games for the Bulls this summer, for the No. 3 spot rather than as opener. This would make the Australia top 3 all from Queensland.
