Mishara powers SL to final after narrow win over Pakistan: Tri T20 No 6 (Rawalpindi)

Paceman Dushmantha Chameera’s four wickets and Kamil Mishara's rapid fifty were the standout performances as Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan by 6 runs in the 6th match of the Pakistan T20I Tri-Series 2025 in Rawalpindi.

Batting first after Pakistan chose to bowl, Sri Lanka posted a strong 184/5, powered by a superb 76 off 48 from Kamil Mishara and a brisk 40 off 23 by Kusal Mendis.

Pakistan’s chase stayed alive through steady contributions, but regular wickets and a brilliant spell from Dushmantha Chameera (4/20) kept the pressure on. Pakistan eventually finished at 178/7, falling just short in a tightly contested finish.

The win secured Sri Lanka’s place in the final.

Sri Lanka 184 for 5 (Mishara 76, Mendis, 40, Abrar 2-28) beat Pakistan 178 for 7 (Salman 63, Usman 33, Chameera 4-20, Malinga 2-54) by six runs.
