Varun seals series win over South Africa: 5th T20 (Ahmedaad)

India signed off the T20I series against South Africa with a commanding performance in the fifth and final match at Ahmedabad, winning by 30 runs to clinch the series 3–1.

Batting first under lights, India piled up a massive 231/5, driven by explosive half-centuries from Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya, which put the visitors under immediate pressure.

South Africa fought hard in the chase, led by Quinton de Kock’s brisk 65, but disciplined bowling — highlighted by Varun Chakravarthy’s four-wicket haul — ensured India restricted them to 201/8, sealing a convincing series victory.

India 231 for 5 (Tilak 73, Hardik 63, Bosch 2-44) beat South Africa 201 for 8 (De Kock 65, Varun 4-53, Bumrah 2-17) by 30 runs.
