Duffy, Ajax trigger Windies collapse for series win: 3rd Test, Day 5 (Mt Maunganui)

New Zealand wrapped up a commanding victory over West Indies on Day 5 of the 3rd Test at Mount Maunganui in December 2025, winning by 323 runs to clinch the series 2–0 after setting the visitors a daunting 462-run target.

West Indies began the final day steadily but collapsed dramatically, sliding from 87 without loss to 138 all out, as the New Zealand bowlers cut through the lineup with ruthless efficiency.

Jacob Duffy led the charge with a five-wicket haul, well supported by Ajaz Patel, capping a Test dominated by the hosts after earlier massive first-innings contributions from Devon Conway and Tom Latham, leaving New Zealand firmly on top from start to finish.
