Ellis, Zampa dismantle Ireland in crushing win: T20 World Cup No 14 (RPS)

Australia beat Ireland by 67 runs in their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Group B clash in Colombo.

Batting first, Australia posted 182/6, with valuable contributions from Marcus Stoinis (45), Josh Inglis (37 off 17 balls) and Matt Renshaw (37) to build a strong total.

In reply, Ireland were bowled out for 115 in 16.5 overs, struggling against Australia’s disciplined bowling attack. Nathan Ellis (4/12) and Adam Zampa (4/23) starred with the ball, sealing a comfortable win to give Australia a strong start to their tournament campaign.

Australia 182 for 6 (Stoinis 45, Inglis 37, Renshaw 37) beat Ireland 115 (Dockrell 41, Ellis 4-12, Zampa 4-23) by 67 runs.
