Naman, Kishan fire before rain spoils decider: 5th T20 (Bengaluru)

The fifth T20I between India and the West Indies in Bengaluru on was abandoned due to rain, leaving the five-match series locked at 2–2.

Following a delay of over two hours, the match was shortened to nine overs per side after West Indies captain Shai Hope won the toss and elected to field. India raced to 118/5 in 7.4 overs before persistent rain forced the game to be called off for good.

Ishan Kishan ignited the innings with an explosive 30 off 10 balls, while Naman Dhir smashed an unbeaten 24 off just six deliveries. Shreyas Iyer chipped in with 22 to maintain India's aggressive scoring rate, though the West Indies ultimately never got the chance to begin their chase.

With the series ending in a washout, both teams shared the trophy, and Hope capped off a stellar campaign by finishing as the series' leading run-scorer with 261 runs.
