1975: Gilmore shines with bat and ball

Allrounder Gary Gilmore delivers with both the bat and ball as he takes Australia to victory in a low scoring semifinal against England.

England collapsed before the bowling of Gilmour. At one stage, England were then 36 for six in the eighteenth over with Gilmour taking all six wickets for 10 runs.

Chasing a mere 93, Australia were in deep trouble. Arnold and Snow bowled with hostility to have the Aussies at 39 for six, needing 55 more to win. England were at the last were beaten by the highest stand of the match between Walters and Gilmour.
