Sobers and Holford record stand saves match (1966)

After coming together at 99-5 in the second innings and facing defeat in the 2nd Test at Lords, Gary Sobers (163 not out) and David Holford (105 not out) put on an unbroken 274 to save their team and draw the match.

Rohan Kanhai scored 104 in a losing cause in the 5th Test at The Oval as Ken Higgs and John Snow put on 128 runs for the last wicket.

The Windies won the series 3-1.
