Tense finish in prospect as Proteas fightback: 1st Test, Day 4 (Jborg) - Part 2 of 2

South Africa need a further 276 runs on the final day to win the first Test against Australia after reaching 178-2 at stumps.

Neil McKenzie 35 and skipper Graeme Smith 69 got their team off to a good start with an unbeaten stand Hashim Amla 43 and Jacques Kallis 26 consolidating their position.

Earlier, Australia slumped from 99-1 to 207 all out after losing 7 wickets in the morning session.
