Sanga leads massive chase: 3rd Test, Day 4 (SSC)

Sri Lanka were 183 for 3 at the close after opener Tharanga Paranavitana 73 and skipper Kumar Sangakkara 50 not out enabled the home team to make a steady start on a wearing pitch. They need to break the world record last innings chase and score further 309 runs to beat Pakistan who ended up with 425 for 9 declared. Shoaib Malik extended his score to 134 and Kamran Akmal made 74. Herath took 5-157. Day 4 3rd Test. SSC. July 2009
