Shane Watson's unbeaten 105 in 129 balls ensured Australia won the ICC Champions Trophy with a six wicket win over New Zealand.

Earlier offspinner Nathan Hauritz 3-37 restricted New Zealand to 200-9 with Martin Guptill (40) topscoring. Australia managed just 18 from the 10 over mandatory powerplay the lowest total in the entire two week tournament as they lost Paine and Ponting.

Cameron White (62) and Watson rebuilt Australia's innings from 6-2 to take them past their target of 201.
