Mark Taylor declares on 334, equal with Don (Peshawar, 1998)

Skipper Mark Taylor equalled the great Don Bradman's then highest ever Australian score of 334 made in 1930 against England at the end of the second day.

He then declared his side innings closed at 599-4 overnight with his own score 334 not out 564 balls with 32 fours and a six. Justin Langer made his maiden test century 116.

The match was drawn after Pakistan made 580-9 declared to which Australia closed the test at 289-5 in their second innings. The joint Bradman-Taylor record was overtaken by Matt Hayden who scored 380 not out.
