Davies and Trott inspire England win: 1st ODI (Durham)
England cruised to a 24-run win over an embattled Pakistan thanks to a swshbuckling display from Steve Davies (87 from 67 balls).
Jonathan Trott held the innings together with 69 from 78 balls as wily off spinner Saeed Ajmal took 4-58.
In reply, Kamran Akmal's 53 and a quick-fire 43 from Umar Akmal took Pakistan to 9-250 but they were always behind the asking rate.
