Australia continued their inconsistent form as the holders eventually dispatched lowly Canada by 7 wickets.

The Canadians started well and 19-year old Hiral Patel hit a fine 37-ball 50 as they reached 150-2.

Canada collapsed to 211 as Brett Lee took 4-46.Shane Watson (94) and Brad Haddin (88) put on 183 in 28.5 overs as the holders eased home by seven wickets.
