Plucky Sandeep Patil: Pole-axed by Pascoe, responds with century
In the 1980/81 Test series in Australia dashing Indian batsman Sandeep Patil was on 65 in the Sydney Test when he gets hit on the head from a brutish ball from paceman Lennie Pascoe. He had to retire hurt as blood gushed from his head.
Patil then went onto score a magnificent 174 in his next Test in Adelaide against the same attack.
