Proteas in command after Amla and AB rescue: 2nd Test, Day 3 (Jborg)

Hashim Amla shared a 139-run partnership with AB de Villiers to put Australia on the backfoot by getting their team to 229-3, a lead of 199 runs.

When Amla (89 not out) and de Villiers (70 not out) came together before lunch, South Africa were reeling at 3-90 - just a 60-run advantage over Australia's first innings total of 296.
