2004: Sehwag is first Indian to a triple century (Multan) - 1 of 2

Virendra Sehwag smashed 309 to become the first Indian to score a triple ton.His total improved on the 281, the previous highest by an Indian in a Test by V V S Laxman against Australia at Calcutta in 2000-01.

Sehwag took just 375 balls to do the same with 39 fours and 6 sixes.

Sehwag's epic knock took only 527 minutes, sharing a record Indian stand of 336 for the third wicket with Tendulkar against any country in Tests.
