A bloody debut: Dananjaya hit in the face (Pallekele)
Mystery spinner Akila Dananjaya Perera had a debut to remember when Sri Lanka met New Zealand in the Super Eight round, a thriller that finished in a tie.
In the 12th over of New Zealand's innings Dananjaya attempted to get his hands on a thump back down the ground from Kiwi batsman Rob Nicol, but the ball evaded his grasp and caught him flush on the face.
