South Africa suffered a major setback as J.P. Duminy is out of action after a freakish accident.
Hospital scans revealed he had ruptured his Achilles tendon from a training run gone wrong.
No action was possible for the first time in 29 years as rain washed out an entire day's play at the Gabba.
