India rout South Africa in 3-0 whitewash: 3rd Test (Ranchi)

Spinner Shahbaz Nadeem struck twice in successive deliveries to get rid of Theunis de Bruyn and Lungi Ngidi in the second over of the 4th morning as India beat South Africa by an innings and 202 runs.

This commanding victory by Virat Kohli and company means they whitewashed South Africa for the first ever time in a Test series.

India 497 for 9 dec (Rohit 212, Rahane 115, Linde 4-133) beat South Africa 162 (Hamza 62, Umesh 3-40) and 133 (de Bruyn 30, Shami 3-10) by an innings and 202 runs.
