Malik and Hafeez inspire thrilling win after Indian collapse: 1st T20 (Bangalore)

All rounder Shoaib Malik and skipper Mohammad Hafeez hit brilliant half centuries to deliver a thrilling five-wicket win over arch rivals India after debutant Bhuvaneshwar Kumar had Pakistan reeling on 12-3.

Earlier, India suffered a shocking collapse after Rahane and Gambhir had added 77 for the opening wicket. They lost 8 wickets for 34 runs as Pakistan's attack dominated the last eight overs.

Pakistan 134 for 5 (Hafeez 61, Malik 57*) beat India 133 for 9 (Gambhir 43, Rahane 42, Gul 3-21) by five wickets
