Australia polished off a battered and broken Sri Lanka in under 25 overs to win by an innings and 201 runs - with two and a half days to spare.
Needing 304 to make Australia bat a second time, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 103.
Earler, Australia resumed on 440-8 and were dismissed for 460 with Johnson left stranded on 92 not out.
