Hughes guides new look Aussies to crushing win: 1st ODI (MCG) - 2 of 2

Phil Hughes (112 off 123 balls) became the first Australian to score a century on his ODI debut and helped his team to a crushing win over Sri Lanka.

Hughes and Bailey (89) had a partnership of 140 runs off 140 balls as Australia posted an imposing 305-5. In reply, Sri Lanka collapsed to 198 all out with only Chandimal (73) showing any fight.

Australia 5 for 305 (Hughes 112, Bailey 89, Hussey 60*) beat Sri Lanka 198 (Chandimal 73, Dilshan 51, McKay 4-33) by 107 runs.
