Mahela and Thissara settle heated last ball thriller: 2nd T20 (MCG)

With 4 needed, Glenn Maxwell missed the last delivery from Thisara Perera as Sri Lanka won a thrilling rain affected match to take the series 2-0.

The match finished in ugly scenes as players clashed on the field and had to be physically separated.

Earlier, Sri Lanka scored 161-4 after a late surge and Australia reached 60-2 from 10 overs before a 45-minute rain delay which left them with a D/L taregt of 122 in 15 overs.

Sri Lanka 4 for 161 (Jayawardene 61*, T Perera 35*) beat Australia 3 for 119 (Marsh 47*) by 2 runs (D/L method).
