In a volatile end to a rain shortened match, the Sri Lankans and Australians almost came to blows as Thissara Perera prevented a last ball win.
Australia had failed to achieve the revised target of 122 (62 off 30 balls) after being 60-2 after 10 overs after Sri Lanka had made 161-4 having been put into bat.
