Indian victory in sight after Ashwin five: 1st Test, Day 4 (Chennai)

A heroic half-century by Moises Henriques (75 not out) and a last wicket stand of 57 with Lyon helped Australia at least avoid an innings loss and delay defeat.

Ravi Ashwin ripped out the heart of the batting with 5-90 as Australia struggled to 9 for 232 - a lead of 40 runs - after Dhoni's magnificent 224 stretched the Indian lead to 192.

Australia 232 for 9 (Henriques 75*, Ashwin 5-90) lead India 572 (Dhoni 224, Kohli 107, Tendulkar 81, Pattinson 5-96) by 40 runs.
