BCCI buckles: Srinivasan asked to stay away, Dhoni avoids spot fixing questions

Beleaguered BCCI Chief Srinivasan found himself under intense pressure to quit after two BCCI heavyweights, IPL Chairman Rajiv Shukla and the Board vice-president Arun Jaitley, asked him to ?stay away? till investigations against his son-in-law were completed in the IPL spot-fixing scandal. Skipper M S Dhoni addressed a the pre-departure media conference, along with Coach Duncan Fletcher and Manager Ranjib Biswal, before the team departed for England to participate in the ICC Champions trophy. A gag order passed by BCCI president N Srinivasan saw Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni avoid all question relating to the IPL spot-fixing scandal. May 2013
