England fell just six runs short of a remarkable victory in a high scoring affair as New Zealand won by 5 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series. New Zealand posted their third highest ever T20 total, a formidable 201 for four as Hamish Rutherford (62 in 35 balls) and captain Brendon McCullum (68 in 48 balls) smashed the England attack for 114 from 67 balls.
