IPL betting scandal: Police charge Srinivasan's son-in-law, Asad Rauf named

Chennai Super Kings' Gurunath Meiyappan, the son-in-law of BCCI president-in-exile N. Srinivasan, has been charged for betting.

Disgraced ICC Elite panel umpire Asad Rauf was also named in a chargesheet filed by Mumbai Police in connection with its investigation into corruption in the 2013 edition of the Indian Premier League. Gurunath, Team Principal of Chennai Super Kings, was charged for “betting and cheating” during the IPL.
