South Africa penalised for ball tampering: 2nd Test, Day 3 (Dubai)
In a dramatic day, South Africa were punished for ball tampering at a time when they enjoyed a huge lead.
Replays showed Faf du Plessis rubbing the ball over a zip on his trousers which prompted umpire Ian Gould to award 5 additional runs to Pakistan. Pakistan 99 and 132 for 4 trail South Africa 517 (Smith 234, de Villiers 164, Ajmal 6-151) by 286 runs.
