Sri Lanka crush Afghanistan to reach final: 2014 Asia Cup (Mirpur)
Sri Lanka reached the Asia Cup final with a 129-run win over Afghanistan after Ajantha Mendis took 3-11 off his unorthodox spin.
Opting to bat first on a sluggish wicket, Kumar Sangakkara's knock took Sri Lanka to 253 for six.
Sri Lanka 253 for 6 (Sangakkara 76, Mathews 45*) beat Afghanistan 124 (Mendis 3-11, Thisara 3-29) by 129 runs.
