Root and Anderson in world record 10th wicket stand (Trent bridge)

England's James Anderson and Joe Root put on 198, the highest last-wicket stand in Test history, against India at Trent Bridge.

England recovered from 298-9 as Anderson made 81 - the highest score by an England number 11 - with Root unbeaten on 154 which pushed the home team to 496.

The previous record of 163 was held by Ashton Agar and Phil Hughes during the 2013 Ashes series.
