Gloveman Wally Grout inducted into Hall of Fame

Australia wicket keeper Wally Grout was inducted into the Hall of Fame during the 2016 AB Medal awards. Grout played in 51 Test matches between 1957 and 1966.

Grout was the first player in Test history to claim six dismissals in an innings and that remains an Australian record which has since been matched by Rod Marsh, Ian Healy and Adam Gilchrist.

Grout died in Brisbane from a heart attack on 9 November 1968 aged just 41.
