Rampaging Roy stuns Sri Lanka: 4th ODI (Oval)

Opener Jason Roy smashed 162 to give England a series-clinching six-wicket win over Sri Lanka as they chased down 308 with 11 balls to spare in a match reduced to 42 overs because of rain.

Earlier, Mendis and Mathews helped Sri Lanka post 305-5.

Roy shared a 149 stand with Joe Root, who scored a much-needed 65.

England 309 for 4 (Roy 162, Root 65) beat Sri Lanka 305 for 5 (Mendis 77, Mathews 67*, Chandimal 63, Gunathilaka 62) by six wickets.
