Morgan century sets up England win: 1st ODI (Leeds)

Skipper Eoin Morgan's century and Moeen Ali's late cameo set up a crushing victory against South Africa by 72 runs.

England slumped to 198 for five but Morgan's sixth-wicket stand of 117 with allrounder Moeen Ali (77 not out) rescued them.

Chasing 340, South Africa were on track with Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis second-wicket stand of 112. South Africa's innings never recovered after both went quickly as they were dismissed for 267 with five overs to spare.

England 339 for 6 (Morgan 107, Moeen 77*, Hales 61) beat South Africa 267 (Amla 73, du Plessis 67, Woakes 4-38) by 72 runs.
