Faf du Plessis (81) and Bavuma’s (62) 142-run fourth-wicket partnership set the tone and intent of a push towards victory as South Africa declared at 247-6.

Bavuma posted 62 off 107 balls after which Bangladesh faltered to end on 49 for three, a long way from their target of 424.
