De Villiers smashes 176, destroys Bangladesh: 2nd ODI (Paarl)

AB de Villiers hit his highest ODI score as South Africa thrashed Bangladesh by 104 runs to take the series 2-0.

De Villiers, who was returning from injury, smashed 176 in 104 balls to combine with Hashim Amla's 85 that saw the Proteas post 353-6.

Despite fifties by Imrul Kayes (68) and Mushfiqur Rahim (60), Bangladesh were dismissed for 249.

South Africa 353 for 6 (De Villiers 176, Amla 85, Rubel 4-62) beat Bangladesh 249 (Imrul 68, Mushfiqur 60, Phehlukwayo 4-40, Tahir 3-50) by 104 runs.
